Beterbiev should fight some live dogs who can take him beyond four rounds at cruiser, before dropping back down to have a run at LH. He's too powerful for his own good, when he comes up against a guy like Kovalev who can take his power and has that 12 round conditioning he's gonna come unglued, real fast once he gets into the latter rounds. Reminds me off that Price heavyweight kid with the glass jaw, he had like a breakdown in the ring upon realising opponents can punch back. Lets hope Beterbiev don't find out the hard way, I really like the look of this guy and love watching him fight.

Beterbiev power shots will do that to you. I can't wait for him and kovalev to fight. That's gonna be a slugging war.

Getting real excited to see Beterbiev step up. I don't think he's ready for Kovalev or Stevenson, but they could put him in with some top 5-8 guys.

He's old and has always started slow. It was a terrible matchup for him.

I disagree about him coming apart, people said the same about kovalev before he fought Hopkins. Hell during the fight they were waiting for him to crumble after the 8th. You're right though he needs some rounds, desperately. Once guys taste his power they offer no resistance. He needs a challenge. Maybe pascal?

ESPN had this one on its schedule as an IBF eliminator. Who has the IBF belt? Is the Russian now the mandatory?

Krusher does not have close to a jaw to stand up to this kid. He got wobbled by Hopkins and Pascal back him up with every clean shot he landed. He will avoid this guys bet on it.
