That would require Manny to change who he is, right. Anytime his volume went down it was due to getting countered or out boxed. I do think he needs to be more calculated with his offense, again that will change who he is as a fighter. He has some quality shoulder feints that mimics his left hand. Feinting, will keep Floyd off balance. he also has a sneaky quick right hand that he can throw with power. This is a good weapon, but he only throws it when he's on balance, and as a counter or part of a combo, starting with his left hand.Comment

Pac's best shot is to be there in the end. Floyd always waits for opponent to slow down bfor he picks apart. Oscar?? There in beginning, faded in the end. Judah?? Ther in beginning, faded in end.. list is long! PAC, phuk the fans and be ther in the end.!! Speed kills Round 9-12, Just ask FLOYD.Comment

Use that off tempo rhythm in and out for a few rounds and hope to steal away those rounds.
Then in the next couple of rounds since he was able to steal the early rounds he can fight more defensive like in the rios fight. Stick and move and let floyd be the aggressor and hope for floyd to make mistakes by doing so and capitalized on that then the later rounds turn it back up and start attacking again.Comment

Its quite disgusting to see Mosley backing Mayweather and even favoring him seeing as how Jr humiliated him talked all that smack while beating him up. He maybe butthurt because Manny beat him worse.... Maidana beat Jr up in their entire first fight and even in the 2 nd fight depsite jr running and holding all night and doing much better , Maidana proved Jr isnt a Davinci code or an unbeatable fighter, to me and many others Jr lost that 1st fight he got outlanded in power shots , jr landed only 9 more jabs total? Long story short theres more than one way to beat Mayweather....ariza dont mean **** this fight actually presents a stylistic matchup that favors Manny wether he uses it to his advantage and executes it remains to be seen...Last edited by boxingfan76; 04-04-2015, 05:19 PM.Comment

Yep. If Manny doesn't have at least four rounds in the bag by the halfway point then the fight's already over. You won't get much against Floyd once he's worked you out.Comment

Jr has won a lot of fights by simply holding on early and coming on late its strategy and hes picked opponents carefully sometimes though it backfires as in the case of Maidana...Comment

Man, I am waiting o the responses. You forgot a few things.
1. Trainer doesn't have the ability to adapt. Freddie will say, "okay son, you gotta put him on his azz ".
2. Can't fight off his back foot.
3. Reacts to every feint.
4. Lost his power.
5. Cannot follow a game plan unless it's attack, attack, attack.
6. Lacks defense.
7. Telegraphs his left hand by dipping his right shoulder.
He does have fast feet, throws a lot of punches, and will fight. It is NO way he deviates from what has made him Manny. His training camp is all about punch count and endurance so he can sustain the volume of punches. If he's working on anything else, i.e., not dropping his left when he jabs, not lunging, inside fighting, counter punches, defense, etc, then he is toast.
Pac is a pretty smart Cat, and he's
been Planning His Attack, for 5 years now...
I wonder Why Our Hero, the Fraudster, has
been reluctant to Take the Challenge, for 5 yrs,
I believe that on May 2nd, FRAUD would rather
be somewhere else!!!Comment

SMH at all this talk about Manny not being able to adjust in fights. If you can't adjust at all, you lose fights. Fast or not, if Manny does the same thing in every fight, his opposition should be able to adjust to his timing and punches and beat him up.
This doesn't happen though and it begs the question: Is Manny's opposition just incapable of making adjustments or does he actually make adjustments that people aren't picking up on? It has to be one of the two situations right? It's not a rhetorical question either...if he is one dimensional and incapable of adjusting, how does he win? It would have to be that his opponents are the ones incapable of making adjustments, so which one is it?Comment

We have a fight on May 2nd, and the timing is right.
Speed does kill, and so does timing, and lunging, and balance and accuracy. I hear all these ****** comments, but how someone believes their fighter can win. Don't start the chicken stuff, and try sliding in "speed kills". Floyd is fast also, and accurate. I've read most of your posts, and some gives some good insight as to why your guy has a shot.
I disagree with Manny being a smart fighter. There's only one Manny Pacquiao, and he fights one way. He hops, plants, and fires. No variety to his game. He is an aggressive offensive flawed fighter. Been that way since he started his career.Comment
