WORLD IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook has blasted Amir Khan for ignoring calls to fight him and opting instead to take on American Chris Algieri next.

Brook has criticised his British rival for showing him 'a lack of respect'.

The 28-year-old retained his title last weekend with an impressive showing against Romanian-born fighter Jo Jo Dan.

Brook had hoped to fight Khan, also 28, next but has been made to wait.

man brook needs to chill, he is getting himself worked up. no need to feel angered, a lot of this is purposeful wind up from khan, like he did to him on ringside a few years back. brook should remain calm and keep his eyes fixed on a big 2015.

There is no Mayweather sweepstakes because Mayweather will fight Pacman twice at 100Mil a pop . Why would he go back down to fight someone else at 30mil ? If he decides to fight after his Shotime contract expires then that's a different story .
