1. Hopkins was much much better than Geale
2. Oscar was competing in then record setting 6th division
3. He was no lineal champ. Everyone saw him rob Sturm for Wbo. Lineal champ shouldnt need a weight excuse

I have to agree with you on that one brush. I highly doubt that rock nation would spend 50 million on cotto,just for him to call off the fight because geale didn't abide by his diva demands. The tickets have been sold,the timeslot has been reserved,and if cotto thinks that both rock nation,and HBO are just going to let him call of the fight,he's in for a rude awakening.

Roc Nation never spent 50 million on Cotto, those inflated figures came from some bullshit Puerto Rican or Mexican news source, the Roc Nation exec laughed when he heard them.

Shame Geale is finding it tough, but then he should never have signed the contract if he couldn't make the weight.
