I don't know your location Jas, but if you're from the UK, the whole Brook/Khan thing is massive, and that's ultimately what this is about.

UK are also big football/soccer fans. Anything derby related is good. . . and Khan & Brook live just about a couple of hours away from eachother on the train (well did) . . . Weather it's what the world wants to see (I'd imagine for the most part it is now) but for the UK, that fight would have been massive. Our own little version of May & Pac if you will (sounds corny I know)

As long as a potential may or PAC fight looms khan will avoid anyone who has a little mustard on their shots. Brook Thurman ain't happening in 2015, it's a shame too, I think khan beats Brooks.

Why wouldn't your record be enhanced with a recent world champion on it? that makes no sense.

Khan's plan is pretty clear imo he wants a big US fight/payday (FMJ/Pac/Cotto) before collecting the big UK fight/payday (Brook).

If the big UK fight comes first and he loses to Brook, he never lands the big US fight as he wouldn't be a credible opponent.

This really was his only option available stateside, given Broner, Bradley, Cotto did not want to fight him

Khan is Floyds mando for the WBC belt i believe. I think now he is simply holidng tight before he can demand his mando fight with Floyd.

ya its massive one thing i will take khans side on is if brook and khan both win their next fight its going to be even bigger but its just irritating that since garcia beat khan he has literally fought nothing but fighters who are tailored made for his style under hunter. Not only that he has not even fought anyone with power im sorry but the alexander fight was bs it looked good on paper but in reality it was a perfect fight for khan little to no risk losing and they marketed it like it was some 50 50 fight. Im sure they will try to do the same with algeiri when we all know algeiri was over hyped and a safe play for pac before the mayweather fight. Lets remember he was a big name cause he beat another overhyped guy in provo

                Just saying.
It wouldnt matter. Because the WHOLE Boxing world knows Brook wanted to fight Amir Khan next, and Khan wanted to duck the fight. Whats Kell to do? Brook and Thurman arent on a collision course, Hearns and Haymon had talks but they're going in different directions, they're both up and coming and theres no demand for THAT fight yet.. Theres been demand for Brook vs Khan for years from UK and even the states cause we seem to understand the significance of the fight more than Khan does.

This is no different than the stance the Boxing world took on the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, where the consensus was that Mayweather was blocking the fight, Khan is blocking the fight, people will spin it it however they want nonetheless

Btw Mandatory fight isnt a tune up

Khan moves to 147; fights two light-welterweights. Way to go, King

Shout to khan's ears that you are accepting his bluff of winner take all. Seems like his trying to avoid you.
