Brook is right. Algieri has one good showing against Provo, a gutsy performance but common it was Provo, not a top 10 p4p fighter.

There is no justification for this fight. Khan deserves all the crap that he is going to get for taking this meaningless fight

This will be a definite PBC card because showtime already declined it. Maybe Khan is being promised something big next but In no way do I agree with him fighting Algieri. Just a horrible fight.
Khans a bum ...stop blaming everything on khan ...this is is doing and his doing only ...if this was Al he would be fighting someone under his banner ...khan just don't to fight this guy ...just like bradley ducked him

I'll be interested to see how much Khan makes from the Algieri fight, that will say a lot... At the end of the day Khan is now enjoying the power he holds over Brook/Hearn, similar to the Hatton-Witter situation years back. Brook needs to focus on himself for 2-3 more fights... There just isn't the clamour for Brook vs Khan that Matchroom are making out atm, so Khan can do what he likes which at the moment is to wind up Brook/Hearn.

Khan is a coward and there's no way in hell he will get a Mayweather fight by beating Algieri. Obviously he thinks that he couldn't win a fight against brooks because if he thought otherwise, trust me, he'd be fighting him tomorrow to win that world title.

Is this some sort of mechanism to move from the fact Khan has ducked Brook?

What difference does this make to that fact?

              Khan is a pu$$y

Khan is the biggest coward and hippocrite in the sport. Besides the fact that every time he overlooks the fighter in front of him to get a shot at Mayweather and then his glass jaw gets knocked out or loses to bums like Peterson, he talks that he is on top of the world every time he wins a worthless fight. Luis Collazzo?!? That is part of your resume that makes you believe you had a good 2014. Khan also said a year ago that if Brook wins a world title fight, he would then be worth "his time" to fight him. Now he is turning down his biggest payday for one of the UK's all-time biggest fights and a world title shot, and he takes the coward's route and fights Algieri. All due respect to Algieri, but Brook would whoop him just like Pacquiao did. Because Khan has a jaw that would break with a flick of a finger on it, he knows Algieri won't embarrass him like he did against Garcia. I cannot wait to see how much Khan gets from this Algieri fight and the backlash he gets from this. And most importantly, I hope Algier finds a way to knock him out in the first round. Oh wait, that has also happened to Khan before...Breidis Prescott!! Keep dreaming Khan - pathetic!!!

Yeah, it's as though Khan fans are trying to use Thurman as some sort of shield.

Ignoring the fact that Thurman has called Khan out and not long ago called him the most over-rated fighter in boxing.

                  It's absolutely pathetic.

First they tried to say Khan hasn't ducked Brook, which of obviously laughable and ridiculous.

Now they're using Thurman as a shield.

Fact is, Brook has tried to make the best fight available and Khan has clearly ducked it.
