Pacquiao drew attention to boxing like we havent seen in years, and then proceeded to let the fans way the fuck down. Turned down the drug test, took a bunch of bull**** fights, got lazy as hell, and overall let everyone down. The average fan person doesn't care about Pacquiao any more, and a hell of a lot of them resent him because they thought Pac was going to be different from all the rest.... but after spending their hard-earned dollars to see him fight the likes of Clottey, Mosley, and Margarito, well, they learned that wasnt the case.

He let everyone down. And you know what? He's just a man, he shouldnt be expected to carry all of that on his shoulders for years just because he beat DLH. But the fact remains that he did not live up to what everyone was expecting.

But.... this fight is a chance for him to wipe away all of that. If he beats Mayweather, the fans, the public, and many of his harshest critics will be singing his praises the rest of their lives.

This is it: Manny wins, it will be 2009 all over again.

He loses? He'll be despised.

He is viewed as a hero in his country man, he builds schools, funds social programs, feeds the poor. That is why people like him, he is a nice guy who is humble. Floyd throws his money in people's faces and his family disrespects all of his opponents, that doesn't go over well when people don't have a lot of money, it earns you disdain not love.

Floyd represents a lifestyle. If you like his lifestyle and wish that you could one day share a similar level of wealth and comfort, then he is a good dude. If you are never going to have much money and break your back to make the light bill, then Floyd comes off as a douche.

That's very good, shows why America is an unbiase place for sport of boxing when it comes to foreigners. I can't imagine how anyone from other countries can back a foreigner over their own citizen without everyone screaming blasphemy, they would call you names which include unpatriotic etc, can you imagine any Filipino, British, Puerto ricans etc doing that? Mexicans just want to see good fighters so I applaud them too.
