You just need to go back to 2008 and see how many Americans of all colors hated on GW Bush. It is amusing to meet Americans like you who still get caught up in the colors.
LOL I can tell you're not American if you believe this to be true. The only thing you hear about is race on the news to the point of it being overkill but the media somehow thinks they are progressing race relations when they are only taking it backwards. Racism still exists in 2015 America and most people know it deep down.

Floyd is practically the 2015 Jack Johnson.

You are incorrect that all I hear about on the news is race. When race reports show up on the news, I switch channels. I watch the news for the traffic reports and when I see police helicopters circling above, I rush to my TV to see if the news is covering whatever crime is in progress.

Race is one of those subjects I choose to avoid and not participate in unless it is in a boxing forum to point out that the general dislike audiences have for Mayweather has nothing to do with his race.

The whole notion that Floyd is hated on simply because he is "black" is straight up ridiculous. Pacquiao is also an ethnic minority. And if you really have been watching the news and it's stories on racism then you would be aware of the racism towards Filipinos and Asians that regularly make the headlines.

But for some reason, we rarely, if ever at all hear people say, "Manny gets hated on from certain groups because he's from Asia." The reason for this is because Americans know better. We could get all ****** and say such things but we generally choose to let the uneducated and entitled demographics wallow in their victim ideals.

As for Jack Johnson... Considering that both Pacquiao and Mayweather are equals as for as being a visible minority is concerned, then it is Pacquiao who is the Jack Johnson.

Jim Jeffries IIRC, was the fellow who refused to give Jack Johnson a shot. It is very similar to how Mayweather kept putting up road blocks to deny Manny the pay day. As an American who follows the news and understands race is the only thing reported by CNN and Fox, my only conclusion is that Floyd Mayweather refused to fight Manny because Manny was a colored fighter.

Eventually Floyd conceded because the money involved obviously weighed more than his petty racism.

        • even if i'm on fraud's payroll i will still root for all his opponents.

the thing is i don't like his fighting style i'd rather go with exciting fighters all day.

fraud's too boring to my liking...

The MSM along with the good ole Govt. exploits and exacerbates every instance of race disagreement to keep the population divided and controlled. That's why I despise racism in any shape or form against any person.

If the US population would grow-up\evolve to the point where they stop seeing color as the enemy, and start seeing the banking elite, the lobbyist and corrupt Govt. officials as the enemy - things will never change.

Color\Race isn't the problem ... The Govt. and its banking system is the problem. And as long as we fight and destroy each other, the longer we'll be ruled by those so-called elites that only want to use us as chattel\mental\financial ******.

Agreed. The elite also installed an African American to represent the highest position of power in the world so all this non sense about racism is really just a silly game that racists like to keep playing on each other because they refuse to evolve.

The only thing the Main Stream Media does is report to us that there still actually exists fools who still play that racism game. Sometimes it makes for good entertainment and other times it gets annoying to know that people still play that game

              • It is fairly obvious that floyd is not well liked by most, and manny is beloved.

                    • I think this is actually a much more intriguing conversation than what is happening here. Has multiculturalism surpassed nationalism, or is Mayweather just that big of a scumbag? American boxing superiority is at stake here.
