People went to see Dawson, not Ward.

Cotto is one of my favorite fighters but he should honestly just drop the titles. There's a very, very good chance he loses to Geale.

Geale is a good fighter and would make a good champion but the only problem is that he won't give GGG a chance to win the titles since he has already been knocked out by him.

Just under 9,000. Not so different from Golovkin/Geale in MSG. Both places downsized the arena's to around 10-12,000.

This could be a fight set to gauge where Cotto and Roach are, with respect to GGG, by fighting a common opponent. If Cotto completely outclasses or even stops Geale, that would lead to a more confident Cotto and Roach, when discussing a future match with GGG.

This fight makes sense with that approach in mind. The public is already clamoring for Cotto to fight GGG, so if Cotto handles that same past opponent with ease as GGG did, the fight will be even more sought after.
