Comments Thread For: Ellerbe: Mayweather Can Silence Roach/Arum Talk

Floyd Mayweather is not concerned about Manny Pacquiao’s training or the trash talking from his rival’s camp, according to Floyd's adviser.

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, claims his man is not paying attention to promoter Bob Arum's criticism of his physical condition.

Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach has also been vocal, calling Mayweather's father Roger "a terrible cornerman," but Ellerbe says his unbeaten fighter will do his talking in the ring in May 2, live on Pay Per View and Sky Sports Box Office.

This is the most quiet and disciplined I've seen Floyd and this is the most mouthy I've seen Roach be before a fight. I think Roach wants to win this fight even more than Manny does. I think Roach wishes he was the one fighting Mayweather. Calling this fight the biggest fight of his "life" not his career just signals to me he wants to win more to satisfy himself than to satisfy his Fighter. In an interview he said he was tempted to yell at Manny when Manny messed up in sparring.

Come on Roach, you need to remember your place. You're the trainer not the fighter.

Anyone else enjoy how classy Floyd's entire team has been through this? When you're in the biggest fight of the new millennium you don't need to resort to cheap tactics to garner interest. Roach and Arum have both been obnoxious in the lead up.

i won't be surprise if fraud fakes an injury to get out of this fight with pac.

his silence is so deafening that he might be considering pulling out of the fight.

usually, a month before the fight he starts talking trash and/or involving himself to a drive by or something...

If Roach and Arum are trying to get in Floyds head, they are doing a terrible job.

Floyd's will Face his FEAR that he ducks for 5 years! He's not talking Thrash right now hoping Pac will take him nicely.

But as Roach has said, Pac don't like Floyd and cant wait to beat him up! I can see Pac dominating Floyd just like he dominated Ledwaba and Julio, the 2 pure Boxer he face in the past! Or Pac can Annihilate Floyd like the way he Annihilate DLH and Morales! No Mercy!

This what I've been saying!!! I don't think they real that they have awaking a monster. You can talk all that you want but come fight night you have to back it up. I feel that PAC is under estimating Floyd and will pay the price! This is not only legacy for Floyd but also personal. I've never seen Floyd so focus but I have seen what he could do when he takes an opponent serious or when one has pissed him off!! People think that Floyd is scary, but Floyd can be very scrappy!!!
