AK hustling backwards smh....he better stop that dude...thats all I gotta say!!....Chris better get Salka'd or AK is gonna look worst than he's looking atmFormer WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri (20-1, 8KOs) got his wish, because British superstar Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) has announced him as his next opponent for May 30th. The fight is taking place at 147-pounds, no venue or location has been announced.
Algieri had told BoxingScene.com earlier in the week that he was the frontrunner to face Khan. The Long Island fighter is coming off his first career defeat, a November twelve round decision loss to Manny Pacquiao in Macau, China. Pacquiao was unable to stop Algieri, who went down six times in the contest

Just a horrible fight, if you are a Khan fan like me there is no way to justify this. He should have fought Brook, Bradley, or Broner. Those were fights I could support but this fight is absolute trash. Algiri has no power so its gonna be an easy night for Khan.Comment

the problem is they tried to book alexander as this huge matchup when we all know alexander is good but hes not that good and now algeiri i mean they are not fooling anyone thats for sureMany peeps would like to support Khan. It***8217;s just hard because he***8217;s so fhukcing arrogant, and it***8217;s unwarranted. The guy***8217;s got crazy speed and good skills, but he***8217;s also extremely vulnerable and his technique is full of holes.
Khan looked great against Alexander. I think many people saw it as a turning point, wanting & expecting to see him against stiffer competition. The backlash is directly related to the disappointment at such an obvious mismatch. It***8217;s selling fans short and everybody is rightfully pi5sed about it.Comment

Why is it hard to see him outboxing Khan? He has much better balance, defence and footwork than Khan. Khan has an edge in hand speed, and will probably outwork him.
But if it turns into a jabbing war, it will be a nightmare for Khan, because Algeri actually has a very educated left hand.Comment
