Strange people are so outraged with Algieri as the opponent whilst at the same time giving Khan little to no credit for his entire career. I think Khan would absolutely school the chit out of him but it won't add anything to his resume though, hopefully Algeiri will realise he isn't what he thinks he is. At the very minimum Khan should have fought a guy like Guerrero. What an idiot Khan is taking a step back from Alexander. Maybe he's thinking to fight Brook in the fall of this year or something.

Khan's been fed a lot of easy opponents in that career you talk about, and has struggled against the better ones. Many people who were fans, myself included, have turned away. Not because he's not skilful, but because pretty much every fight is cherry picked so he's the favourite.

Hearn / Brook have offered him multiple dates for a title shot, for massive money in the the UK's most illustrious venue. He's turned it down for a fight that poses very little challenge. and you say, "strange people are so outraged." Seriously?

I'm no defender of Khan, I believe he is ducking Brook although I think he will fight him within 12 months time.

I'm just surprised so many people take an interest in who Khan's next opponent will be if they don't like him, I know I don't give a chit who a guy is fighting if I don't like them.

Algieri is a better pure boxer than Khan. Better chin, better footwork, better head movement, better volume.

It's also being reported that Khan ducked Tim Bradley for an IBF eliminator.

He hasn't fought a genuine WW despite fighting above the 140 limit 3 times.
