Yeah, both on the same sorta level, can see Algieri giving Broner a few problems in the first few rounds but would expect Broner to start getting to him later on in the fight.
Would love to see that and then Broner fighting Danny Garcia afterwards, i see Broner has mentioned him in a recent Instagram post.
For some reason the Broner - Garcia match up has been one of my dream matchups for a while.
I'd love to see that.Comment

I don't see him start working with a new trainer and jumping straight to Khan within a few weeksComment

To be fair, this is the level that Khan belongs in... He keeps calling out Floyd and Manny, thinking he belongs there and now fights like these are slept on.
Algieri has more fights above 140 than Khan (2 fights at 147). Both are career JWW.Comment

People did the same 180 on Provodnikov, but you know this. They are pretty equivalent wins with Provodnikov a pretty cemented top 5 at 140 and Porter barely in the top 10 at 147. Both "feared punchers" whose fans abandoned them after losses. No, it isn't.
People quickly switched their views on Porter after Brook outclassed him. From mini-Tyson to no better than a plodding brawler with power in Provodnikov.
His last showing was an utterly embarrassing display in which he hit the canvas 5 times and lost every round, he's also never fought at 147...It's a joke opponent.
Algieri simply doesn't look the part, he looks like a dentist or something, lets be honest. But to treat him as a joke while being a Brook fan is hypocrisy. Their pro records are quite similar aside from the Manny beatdown.
Or was beating uhh mojo bob or whatever the crowning achievement that makes Brook the new guy to beat at WW?Last edited by ////; 04-01-2015, 10:16 AM.Comment
