Squeaky clean? Who said anything about squeaky clean fighters? Matter of fact there aren't all that many squeaky clean people regardless of what they happen to do for a living. You also missed my point completely. And why?

Because I wasn't debating with you if fighters should be judged by their character, I was only pointing out how you were going about what you were doing. And what was that?

You came onto the forum on your high horse bashing forum members for passing judgement of what Adonis has done outside the ring and you did this while you passed judgment on them. I was going to say that you are actually no different then the ones you are bashing but in reality you are. And why are you different?

Because they at least have information to base their opinion on when you know nothing about most of the individuals on this forum. For the most part you don't even know what color they happen to be and yet you are quick to call them bigots.

I am also sure that there are more than a few boxing fans who happen to be black that believe Adonis is a moron for what he has done in the past. So please put the race card away because personally I believe they have been overplayed.

As far as Bhop is concerned I never considered myself a fan of his but it had nothing to do with the color of his skin. I just always believed that he was a boring dirty fighter without an ounce of humility. But I still have watched many of his fights and I have to admit that he has actually grown on me the past few years.

Therefore, even though I was rooting for Kovalev I was honestly happy that the Krusher did not KO Bhop. Simply because I didn't want to see his career end that way and I for one truly hope he retires before someone does brutally knock him out.

In closing I will say that I am also pretty sure that there were more then a few white boys sitting in bars around Philly last November that were rooting for their hometown fighter. Therefore you lumping fans together just because you assume that they are white is in my opinion what is truly insulting.

A wise man once told me that when a white guy tells a black guy ; lets not bring race into this , he's being the most racist at that time . Reading ur response has made me realize how greatly indebted I am to have had that wise man around . Do I really have to explain to u how ubiquitous racism really is ??? If I do , I have so much empirical and current evidence on the matter that if I post it all it would probably overload and crash this server , so let me just list only a couple of salient realities on the matter instead . Lets start with New York's stop and frisk which essentially makes New York a police state for just ********** ; next we'll go with the consistent murdering of unarmed black men under 35 by white police across the whole country ; school to prison pipelines ; The Justice departments recent findings on the racist exploitations of Blacks by the St.Louis police dept ; the recent fraternity bus incident ; the CIA getting caught selling their drugs in black neighborhoods to fund their secret wars . I'll stop there , because I think u get the point and that point is ; u should never fix ur lips to tell a black person that the race card is being overplayed cause IN AMERICA RACISM IS NEVER OVER-PLAYED , IT IS ONLY OVER-WHELMING . But back to the real subject at hand , Stevenson . The reason why I take umbrage to those who condemn Stevenson in personal matters is because u don't buy a 400 page biography on someone's life , go to page 199 , then close the book and deem the person scum of the earth simply because of what u read on that one page . Don't u think u should read the whole book first ? Maybe he was born into *********** , maybe his mother was a hoe and his father a pimp . Maybe his dad beat his mom unmercifully growing up and he thought that behavior was normal . The point is no one knows the whole story but Stevenson , but people r quick to read one page , close the book and go about condemning . I think it says a lot about u deciding to be a thorn in my side simply because I've decided to take to task those who read one page of Stevenson's bio and have decided to quickly usher him to the woodshed . But yet u haven't uttered one word the other way , telling ! So in essence u jump on me , cause I jump on them for jumping to ad hoc conclusions on Stevenson ? So in summation I guess it's fair to say ur goal is to protect the ad hoc hating freedoms of the bigots who desire to engage in a unabated witch hunt on a fighter due to his personal and past transgressions, from guys like me who tell them they shouldn't . And as far as this statement above that u made I'll say this ; it's fairly easy to identify who on this site is basing their opinions solely on race because they usually all have a few things in common , that commonality is this ; They usually find any silly excuse to discredit or justify why they don't like a dominate or talented black fighter . They say they don't like Floyd because he's arrogant , they also say they don't like Ward because he's boring (although his last two fights have been very exciting) , they dislike Wilder but haven't really been able to come up with a justification as to why yet , they also hate Haymon because he's black and so powerful but they claim its because he makes bad matches . So far they seem to be on the fence about Thurman but he's just getting started so the jury is still out until he's becomes more of a household name . So if u dislike Ward , Mayweather , Wilder and Haymon but at the same time love the dominate Russian fighters that come here and can't speak a like of English , 99 out 100 times ur probably white and basing who u like and dislike on skin color .

Wow, now you are implying that I am a racist. But honestly I really truly do not care what you think simply because you don't know me and you are free to assume what ever you wish. And you already do that quite often.

I also don't need a history lesson on racism because I am quite aware that it is alive and well in the good ole USA. I am also aware that it comes in both black and white. As far as the race card I was simply implying that you are overplaying it on this forum and you still are.

You are also not the first to come on the forum and play it and I am sure you won't be the last. But most of the time you all don't stay around long because most forum members stop paying attention to you in hopes that you will go away.

As for how you figure out who is white I will tell you this. I don't like Floyd for some of the same reason that I can't stand Tyson Fury. Therefore I would love to see Wilder go to England and knock the snot out of Fury. In your world I guess I am just a confused white guy that hates everyone.

There has also been other white fighters that I wasn't fond of. One of them that comes to mind is Vinny Pazienza. And I am even of Italian heritage and I could not stand Vinny. I won't go into much detail but I really enjoyed when the Black Mamba dominated Vinny way back in the day. I may not like Floyd but I was a fan of ole uncle Roger. I guess that means I am just a self loathing Italian as well as bigot racist.

As far as Ward is concerned I truly believe that there are plenty of black fans out there that find him just as boring as some white fans do. I just don't happen to be one of them. I happen to believe that he is the best American fighter and I am a fan of his.

I also believe that if he wants to fight his entire career in the city of Oakland more power to him. Simply because he is one fighter that doesn't need the benefit of a home town decision. But I hope that he gets himself together and goes to England. Because it doesn't mater if he fights Froch on his own front porch he will still dominate him.

As far as how I feel about Adonis I did not mention it because my opinion of him had nothing to do with the point I was making. I also don't care either way and I honestly don't even know the whole story because quite frankly I don't care enough to even read up on the situation. With that said I know he did some pretty cruddy things to woman, which I guess is the one page in his bio that you were referring to.

The problem with that is you may believe it is only one page in his book. But that is some pretty nasty big print on that one page and violent acts against woman would be a huge anchor for anyone to be dragging through life.

So, to me it is pretty understandable why many may not like him. And it is the same reason why many always reefer to Tyson as a rapist. Or is that just the white bigots doing that?

In closing I will say that I believe that your thinking is irrational because you unfairly judge folks based on your assumptions. You also seem rather intolerant of them simply because you disagree with what they have to say. Wow, go figure! Because that means by definition that you are actually the bigot.

Boxing Scene is harboring no one. The jury in the Tyson trial was not all white and I am protecting no one and I am also nothing like you. Simply because I don't go about passing judgement on people based on half a$$ assumptions. I also don't go stirring up 5hit just for the sake of doing so. Have a good one!
