Carl doesn't want to rematch Ward because he will lose again. Ward is becoming one of the most feared men in boxing. He has Golovkin and Froch running scared.

Meh..Roc Nation is going to overbid some ridiculous amount and Froch will vacate and fight Chavez. That fight can sell itself without a belt at stake.

Carl Froch is paying little to no attention to Andre Ward's claim of being willing to stage their rematch in the UK. Froch wanted the rematch to take place at City Ground in Nottingham - which Ward rejected. Ward says he is willing to face Froch in London but not in his hometown of Nottingham.

The World Boxing Association recently ordered the two of them to fight each other. Froch holds the WBA's regular title at 168-pounds and Ward is the WBA's super champion at the weight. Ward won a twelve round unanimous decision over Froch in the 2011 Super Six tournament finals.

It's not about money; Froch doesn't want to lose again, period. He wants to fight Chavez Jr and retire.... He will avoid Ward and Degale and retire if he has to.

Ward is willing to give Froch a chance to avenge his only unavenged loss in England. If Froch rejects it, he doesn't have a competitive bone on his body.

He is all but retired.

froch dont want to fight ward, its that simple. he knows he will lose.

I am a little mixed on this one.

Froch is about to retire, bringing his stellar career to an end, and he has already fought Ward..... so basically, he can do whatever he likes, including sleep with my wife.

If he wants the opportunity to avenge the defeat to Ward, he can take that option..... if not, no problem..... he can take a nice retirement fight, or quit now..... no problem with any of those options for Carl been-there-done-that Froch.
