then just say that. The problem is ward beat Froch decisively. A rematch only serves to line Ward's poskets. If he chooses to make less by fighting in the US, that's his choice since he is doing Froch a courtesy that, frankly, he doesn't need to do since there is no question who is better.Comment

I did, you caught feelings because of the example used.then just say that. The problem is ward beat Froch decisively. A rematch only serves to line Ward's poskets. Who won the first fight is irrelevant, Froch is the A-side, the PPV fighter. If there's a rematch, he holds the bargaining power to determine when and where.
Ward's options are to either accept or walk away from more money than he's ever made from a fight.Comment

your example was ******ed so I called you on it.I did, you caught feelings because of the example used.

no, who won the 1st fight is not irrelevant. Froch has a home fanbase of support. I agree he brings in more people.
Ward beat him clearly and thoroughly. If ward grants him a rematch he gets to choose where it is. Now Ward can choose to go to England for the bigger purse or he can choose to have the fight in the US for less money.
I think he'd be ****** to take less after being inactive for so long. But I also think he knows he couldn't win a fair decision.
If its me, go to England, knock this ***** out like Hagler did Minter, and walk out with the drunk bastrads throwing trash and beer bottles at you.Comment

it was spot on you're just over emotional when it comes to those two.
lol no, the A-side determines on what terms the fight takes place. In this case you have a PPV fighter probably bringing 50,000 fans while the B-side is not PPV and sells about 7,000 tickets. It's quite a simple math.no, who won the 1st fight is not irrelevant. Froch has a home fanbase of support. I agree he brings in more people.

I agree, ward should choose to fight in England. But its his choice since he thoroughly beat Froch. Besides, a lot of what you are crediting Froch for was in fact both guys and the fact it was a huge British rivalry.
The better comparison (although not really because its Vegas) is Randall v Chavez. Randall went to Mexico for the 3rd fight but the rematch was in MGM again.Comment

Ward's been looking skinnier than ever over the past 3 months, I think he even commented with Sechback about it how he changed his diet to keep weight off.
Hopefully both sides are just posturing for control, but financially Froch would call the shots here. Ward's alternatives of Perriban & Porky Medina probably won't bring in much money.Comment
