You can say something and then when it comes time to negotiate, you aren't so keen.

The two camps are still negotiating. It's supposed to go to purse bids very soon so there'll be some resolution.

Hahahahahaha..... Exactly. Froch doesn't want it. He already said he needs a KO to win which he won't get.

Yep, someone has to walk. It's hard to believe that whichever side loses the purse bid will play by the other side's rules.

Froch is ducking Ward if he doesn't take it in England. This is poor stuff from Froch. I still have hope that he will take it

Meh..Roc Nation is going to overbid some ridiculous amount and Froch will vacate and fight Chavez. That fight can sell itself without a belt at stake.

That's if Fonfara doesn't ruin everyone's hopes and beat Chavez. It's certainly possible.

I wonder if there is an amount Roc Nation could bid that would entice Froch. Like the equivalent of Quillin getting 1.4 million for Korobov, I wonder if that would be enough.

There's no guarantee Chavez fights Froch even if he wins, Al Haymon could push him in another direction to promote his PBC series.

I suppose Carl thinks looking back on his career to date he has only been conclusively beaten once why risk it twice on what potentially could be his final bout
