Stevenson won clearly as he should have but it looked too competitive in spots, Stevenson gassed again at that moderate pace and showed that all he can do is circle. circle, jab, and long range straight left......that is it his whole arsenal.
Pretty good fight if not anything special. I was pulling for Stevenson and knew he'd win but was hoping for a KO, at least he knocked Bika down a time or two and made it somewhat exciting. I'm glad he successfully defended the Light Heavyweight Championship of the World and I'm looking forward to seeing his next defense, hopefully it's against Kovolev and they draw a ton of viewers and money.
To have such a hittable guy in front of him, Stevenson wasn't as accurate with his straight left as he should have been. It was almost comical seeing Stevenson miss Bika's head, or see Bika duck the shot. Bika is tough and rugged, but is far from a defensive wizard. He was wobbled a couple times and dropped. A more accurate Stevenson left hand and that fight wouldn't have went the distance.
