I would still favor Golovkin. I think he's a bad match up for Martinez.

I think Golovkin wins via knockout, Sergio doesn't have the greatest chin and you can't afford that against GGG.

Prime Martinez - approx the one that stopped Dzinziruk. Before his injuries, but already confident that he can KO serious opponents...

Watch Sergio/Chavez Jr. Watch how easy it was for bum Chavez to trap him, and how he doesn't even throe shots at Sergio. Replace him with the king of cutting the ring off, and GGG wouldn't let him off the hook.

Golovkin beats any version of Martinez.

Pick em fight but i'd say Marinez's has enough footwork, fitness and 'slickness' to stay away from GGG's sledge hammers. He's used to fighting bigger stronger opponents so he's used to it.

We also know Martinez hits hard enough to least gain GGG's respect.

Golovkin is flat out better than any version of Martinez. I swear, the "Prime Martinez was so good doe" myth is just ******ed and is getting out of hand.

What about how easy it was for the likes of Murray to land shots directly on Golovkin's face?

GGG is a much better fighter than any Martinez that ever fought. Martinez had a draw with Cintron and lost to Williams. GGG could KO Williams and Cintron on the same night. There is just no comparison between the two fighters in my opinion. GGG is better by a mile. I know Martinez got robbed in his fight with Cintron. Cintron would probably be KOed by GGG in a round or two. A younger welterweight Martinez was KOed by Margarito. GGG has never even come close to losing a pro fight and he has never been hurt or knocked down to my knowledge.
