Amir Khan is prepared to fight Kell Brook at Wembley within the next 12 months but has told the Sheffield fighter he has other opponents to take on first.

Brook's team had called on Khan to set a date for a fight this summer after defending his IBF welterweight title with a stoppage win over Jo Jo Dan in Sheffield.

But Khan told Sky Sports News HQ that Brook is not on his radar for his next fight.

“I’d love to go in the ring and fight Kell Brook, it could be his last fight against me because the thing is, I [could] give him that much of a beating it could end up being his last fight," Khan said.

I don't think there's an opponent out there better than Brook for Khan. Unless he fights Cotto, One Time, or Timmy. There's no one else..........well possibly Rios that's acceptable.

I say One Time or Chino( preferably Chino). Cotto is a fight no one wants to see and Timmy did to him what he's doing to Brook, so some interest there but not enough.
