Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield - This past Saturday night, IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (34-0, 23KOs) made the first defense of his title and crushed mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan (34-3, 18KOs) in four rounds. It was an unexpected one-sided contest where Brook simply overwhelmed Dan and dropped him four times before the fight was waved.
Afterwards he called for an immediate fight on June 13th in Wembley with domestic rival Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs), who already passed on the fight and plans to return at the end of May. Brook is claiming that Khan is avoiding the fight because he fears his chin will be exposed against a heavy puncher.
