Algieri would be a horrendous choice of opponent for Khan but lets not revise history. He boxed Provodnikov's **** off.

I'll agree that Algieri boxed well, especially after sustaining that damage to his right eye. He did a lot of retreating and pot-shot Provo, who instead of cutting off the ring, followed him around. Provo did still land some good shots in between. The split-decision of 114-112 by two judges and 109-117 by one, holds the argument that Algieri didn't quite box Provo's **** off.
