As for his talent. I do think he's talented. His chin is suspect and his power is ****ty. Despite his knockdowns, he was slipping Pac's punches and landing straight rights. A lot. He has good stamina. Good movement, and a great heart. So I still think he's game opponent for anyone.

If you can't beat Chris Algieri convincingly at 40-47, then no, I don't consider you elite.

There's only few in the 140-147 division that I would call "elite." In fact, there's only 3. You know who 2 of them are. The step below are in the Danny Garcia, Thurman, Bradley, Khan, Guerrero, Broner, Matthysse, Maidana, etc. category. I don't consider Algieri elite. I consider him game opponent for any of the fighters I mentioned. Sure, he'll most likely get dropped a lot. But his chin was never his greatest attribute.
