Stevenson is looking to cash out. There's no harm in that. They were close to a deal last year but HBO low balled them. There's no denying that. Bojangles I get your point but if this happens it worked out better for both Stevenson and Kovalev. SO Kovalev had to take the harder road. That's what happens when you don't have the fanbase the other guy does.

Once they fight, winning and nothing else matters. That they didn't fight in early 2014 means nothing. It seems people are holding on to this as if it will somehow take away from Stevenson if he wins.

Fact is Stevenson has beaten the #1 LHW, Kovalev beat #2, and #3 and if they fight and Stevenson wins its because he is better than Kovalev and always was.
