Comments Thread For: Hearn To Khan:: Algieri a Big Letdown - Fight Kell Brook!

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport says he is baffled as to why Amir Khan will not accept a fight with domestic rival Kell Brook, who holds the IBF's welterweight title. Brook demolished mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan in four rounds on Saturday night in Sheffield. After the fight was over, Brook and Hearn challenged Khan to fight on June 13th in Wembley.

Hearn is alarmed to hear reports that Khan is potentially going to face former 140-pound champion Chris Algieri on May 30th in the United States. Algieri is coming off a one-sided beating at the hands of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, who scored six knockdowns in the contest.

Why is Edward Chaykovsky always recycling the same quote to write numerous articles?

And in fairness to Algeri, he is not a big let down. If he was good enough to fight Pacman, he damn sure is good enough to fight Khan.

Mvther****ers need to keep it real. You can't call Pacman the 2nd best welterweight after beating Rios, Bradley and Algeri, then say Algeri isn't a good opponent for anyone else.

In all seriousness, Chris is a good fight for Khan considering Khan isn't even that good. He could very well **** around and lose to Chris, who knows.

A ton of people ****ted on Pacquiao for fighting that kickboxer, and if Khan and his fans want to throw his name up there with the best than he should be criticized accordingly.
