So he should behave like he doesn't want a career pay day and a Marquee name. This is what is wrong with boxing in the past a champion would never have to chase down a contender.

Algieri is coming off of fighting Manny Pacquiao, so he is naturally a bigger name than Brook. However, he should fight Brook that is what every body wants.

Belt, Money, Big Event and a Name.

Hearn is alarmed to hear reports that Khan is potentially going to face former 140-pound champion Chris Algieri on May 30th in the United States. Algieri is coming off a one-sided beating at the hands of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, who scored six knockdowns in the contest.

If khan fights that bum algieri then it just proves what a clown he truly is.

It's a domestic thing, in the UK. . . Both fighters are from very close to eachother, it's almost a derby match.

They have been rivals for a long time, but not to the world, as Kell hasn't really gone world level until recently, but the people of the UK know the story, and that is why this is a big fight to us.

There's an article already here that is talking about a fight between Khan and Algieri, that's why Hearn made this comment.

Look, Khan vs Brook is the biggest fight in the U.K. and it needs to happen just like Mayweather vs Pacquaio needed to happen. No one is "begging", this is a high stakes fight that there is no credible excuse for it not taking place.

Khan (a.k.a. Con) wants to avoid anyone that he knows will crack his glass chin. It's no coincidence that he never talks about a rematch with Danny Garcia and Breidis Prescott. Kell Brook is a better boxer than both and absolutely will tag Khan's chin... and he knows it!

Khan is clearly terrified of Brook, no worries, Brook should beat a Maidana or Marquez or Guerrero while waiting for Khan to grow a pair. It means he gets a bigger name on the world scale and makes Khan look like a little biatch.

Khan should fight Brook, he wants the big names, big money and he wants to fight before summer. Brook is quite a big name in the division, he's a top 10 welterweight, it's the biggest available fight before summer and they are willing to make it happen (ready to negotiate asap and they have a date on hold). Aside the floyd-manny winner, nothing is bigger for khan than a fight with brook at wembley stadium for the only world title left in the divison. That fight would be huge in the uk. And i'm sure it's gonna put the winner in number one position to fight the floyd-manny winner. Whoever wins between manny and floyd, i'm sure they would love to end their career undisputed champion, that would cement their legacy and be a perfect way to retire. That would be a big bargain for khan, a chance to earn his biggest payday to date and a chance to be the obvious next fight for manny or floyd

There is no legit reason Khan can give as to why he won't take this fight.

He is terrified of losing to a fellow countryman in such a big event. He would be finished, his stock would drop so much.
