Does a win over Gonzales show just how good Loma is.

Makes Lomo look real good, cause he completely outclassed TBA KILLER and beat em up too.

Russell is not a strong puncher, perhaps it merely showed us how vulnerable Gonzalez was. Yes it helps Loma's ranking, but time will tell if any of these guys are the real deal.

At the end of the day it was Gary who KO'd Gonzalez, not Loma. An undefeated Russel was a good win for Lomachenko nonetheless, but Russel's win over Gonzalez does not correlate with any of Lomachenko's accomplishments thus far.
        Totally agree with this post.

Why can't we just let Russell enjoy the victory?

He proved that he has heart and determination by coming back from a loss to get a title. Let him enjoy it.

Reminds me when Mayweather fans were taking credit for Marquez beating Pacquiao 2 years ago.

I remember that and I agree. Russel was the man in the ring with Jhonny for Jhonny's strap, not Loma.

It certainly reflects better on Lomachenko for Russell to have beaten Gonzalez than to have lost to him.

But Lomachenko's his own talent and Russell is in his rear-view, no real need for him to try and live off a decisive win that happened last year.

Now let's see who they fight and how they do in the future.

I think true fans take fights for what they are worth and don't use triangle
triangle theories. Loma beat russell and I believe Russell would beat Salido but fighter a sgould be measured on their merits, not others victories or defeats.
