I don't think Khan really is afraid.. it's not like i could defend him and say it's high risk low reward, because the reward is exceptional.. all that money, a world title, and pretty much a guarenteed unification with the Floyd/Manny winner. It really just must be ego's.
You are missing the point of having an EGO , you want that fight if you think you will win it so you can TAKE AWAY all bling from the hearns , you avoiding it isnt making you hero nor you make them suffer.
you taking out their guy will make them suffer - really suffer fiannacially.
so i will bag the differ , it could be a great grudge match with tons of upside for Khan , but you will just have to admit , the guy doesnt think he is going to win.

I still don't accept it as an excuse. George Groves is using similar reasoning to avoid the DeGale rematch. People are enjoying sticking it to the Hearns at the moment. Eddie has seemingly promised Sky some PPV dates which he hasn't been able to deliver.

Lets see next week why Khan does not want the biggest purse of his career, the IBF welterweight title opportunity,uk bragging rights and to showcase himself at Wembley stadium in front of 80,000 fans and millions watching world wide and on PPV..........CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THIS OPPONENTS NAME !!!!!!!
Within the last few weeks, in an interview here on BS, Khan stated that he would fight Brook if Kell had a title. Khan needs to front up for this one.

Thats a real hard call man.

At least Brook made himself relevant.

Even prior to the second Groves fight Froch was saying that he could not get up for anything except a top high-profile fight, preferably in the US.

He is doing to Degale, what Calzaghe did to him, which is fine.

It was too late for Froch, he wasn't relevant as Calzaghe was winding down his career, now Degale is in exactly the same boat.

If you are getting ready to walk out the door, and you have a resume such as Froch, you can do whatever you like.

Oh trust me, I do believe he doesnt think he'd win, I'm just trying to find some reasoning on behalf of someone defending him, but I really can't, except maybe the ego's getting in the way, but yeh, you completely blew that reasoning out the window, as you were correct - Just win the fight & shut everyone up.

Froch got out muscled and dominated in a one sided affair against Ward....................whose left hand was fractured in two places. Keep ducking that rematch!

He wasn't going to give Groves a rematch either if it wasn't for him getting the IBF to intervene.

              Ducked Degale.

At least he fought both Groves and Ward to begin with you can't even get Khan to fight Brook once for all the money in the world.

Yeah, at least Khan has fought many World level names better than Brook who were more established in the past. It is not as if all Khan does is fights stiffs.

Like how you took Degale out of there.

Froch has already fought everybody, and is just about to retire.

Khan has not avenged any of his defeats, and he is not just about to retire.

                      It really is different.

Degale is fighting exactly who he should be fighting, Andre Dirrell..... guys who are just below the top level, in order to make the top level.

Khan is not fighting who he should be fighting.
