I see a Ricky Hatton pattern here when he ****** Witter who had the WBC belt at 140 at the time. Khan need to make the Brook fight because of that belt which might make the Mayweather-Pac winner more incline to fight him if he beats Brook.

      Wait for what reason?

His first fight after a severe injury and mandatory, it was the perfect time to get it out of the way.

He now has an open schedule to fight anyone in a summer stadium fight and we now know his injury is not a problem.

Khan is avoiding the biggest and best fight available while Brook is aggressively calling for it, it's not a remotely similar situation. You're simply defending a blatant duck.

Let's not forget that Khan has more than enough money, it's Brook who's desperate for the payday here, Khan is a multi millionaire already, Brook most certainly isn't.

And there's no doubt he'll get more money fighting Brook than Mayweather, so if he's apparently ducking Brook to try and fight Mayweather then how is he looking for get rich fights when he's chasing the fight which would earn him less money?
I was responding to someone who said he doesn't want to fight Brook because he wants the Mayweather payday by saying Brook is the more lucrative fight. Not sure if this post is to me or agreeing with me, but just pointing out my post was saying the exact opposite of Khan chasing the money fight.

If the reason Khan said no is because he has secured Broner or Bradley then fair enough, if its Alegri etc then its a clear duck not to face Brook.

I dont know why he wouldnt want to fight him, he holds a belt and i think Khan would win majority of the rounds

No, Khan is already worth many millions! He is already rich. Khan is Brooks get rich fight you moron. No one else will pay him anything and no one else will come to UK to fight him. JMM maybe, but that fight is not a big fight.

Khan doesn't have a May opponent yet so wouldn't be breaking a contract to meet Brook in June and would have longer to prepare, but he says "I'm focused on the likes of Pacquiao, Mayweather ... that level." So that obviously means he'll be fighting a Mayweather, Pacquiao level guy in May. Yeah, right.

This is what bothers me about Khan. He just doesn't come off as a hungry fighter.

It's a punk move.....again!! To be fair though, I'll wait to see who Khan's opponent is first. If he doesn't fight another soft touch then it's fine imo. Thurman, Maidana,Cotto, Matthyse or I'll even take Broner or Guerrero.
