    Your absolutely correct..

    Happens all the time..

Cotto was looking for floyd rematch over a Canelo fight, because if he loses to floyd again, no big deal, him n canelo is still a big fight, but lose to canelo and the floyd rematch goes out the window...

I still think it looks bad if khan doesn't fight Brook...
With Ramadan basically taking away a September fight for khan, most likely he won't fight floyd or manny til next spring at the earliest, if he even lands that fight... A fight with Brook is a legit stadium fight and for a world title, and a victory for khan would insure a manny/floyd fight in the future

Amir Khan is building a base in America. He is already a household name in England and Pakistan. Once he conquers America he will then dictate the terms of a possible brook fight. Kel is a great fighter but he needs to full in line.

Khan is a ducker. He has been fighting bums so that he can look good and then say he wants pac or mayweather. Think about it how do you lose to prescott, garcia, peterson and almost maidana and yet you don't scream out for a rematch.

Carl Froch - to most UK boxing fans, is the man currently (the epitome of a warrior).. He usually speaks the truth, he thinks Khan v Brook has to happen next.. I massively agree. Kell Brook has the IBF strap May V Pac have the WBA, WBO and WBC belts, I can't remember recently it being a unified division with an undisputed champion and with the pool of talent currently, it would be a huge feat. Besides no one wants Khan v Algeri/porter (Both coming of big losses, one to Kell)

"I think Khan thinks he's too big for Kell Brook and fair play to him, he's been around on the scene for a while and he's fighting in Vegas and Amir Khan thinks hes a big shot.

"But Kell Brook is the world champion, Amir Khan's got no title. If he thinks he can beat Brook then come over here and try and take his world title off him."

"I think Amir Khan is worried by that punch - on his whiskers like Kell said! I think that's a fantastic fight that should happen - but probably won't."

          Carl Froch

There's no defending this in my eyes, this is as blatant as any duck in boxing. He has wanted no part of Brook for as long as the fight has been talked about, and its getting worse.

'He needs to beat a top fighter first'
'I'll fight him if he wins a world title'
            'He's too disrespectful, no fight'
'I need to fight 3 weeks before that date'

This list of excuses is growing.

Given how much ***** Khan fans gave Bradley for ducking him to stay in line for a Pacquiao fight, how they are defending Khan doing the exact same thing is pretty sad.

Khan sought them out specifically, Dan was a mandatory.

a mandatory that he could have taken down the line, the getting it out of the way excuse doesn't hold up he wanted an easy fight for his first defense no different then what you believe Khan's doing he's no better

Could have waited for what reason?

The summer is when stadium fights in the UK take place. It was his first fight back since being stabbed. Everyone else had either just fought or has a fight set....it was the perfect time to get Dan out the way.

This is more crap to defend Khan blatantly ducking a fight that is the biggest available in terms of interest and money, and also provides a world title.

                    • Brook is Probably one of the bigger fights for Khan at this point. Considering Pac and Floyd are locked with rematch potential what other options does he have? He nets himself an IBF title in the process and has leverage down the line but I guess pushing a fight against TBD at TBD on May ___ back a couple of weeks to fight Brook instead isn't a viable option.
