Khan says he wants big fights. Brook is about the biggest fight out there for him right now. Idk wtf he's talking about. The only other things are Thurman or Marquez I guess, but I don't really see those as makeable fights or I guess fights that will be made for this hard end of May date Khan is rambling on about. But I still say Khan vs Brook in the UK would be bigger than anything else thats possible for the first half of this year.

Yeah I get it's a notable fight in England and all but it's quite clear Khan doesn't really need Brook as much as the other way around who can Brook fight that would give him the worldwide audience Khan can unless another name WW decides to go over there , who is Brook going to fight instead.

The problem is that if Khan loses to Brook, he's finished as far as big paydays go.If he loses to Mayweather, no big deal, everyone does. The Brook fight would still be there.

So it's either chase Mayweather, if he loses, there's another big Payday with Brook still possible. Or fight Brook, if he loses, there's no chance of a Floyd fight. So that's 2 possible paydays versus 1. His advisors are not ******, i'm sure they take all this into consideration.

First Khan says he wouldn't fight Brook because of the disrespect, then he said he would fight Brook IF he could win a title. Now it's because he's fighting in May and he's focused on the likes of Manny and Mayweather who are fighting each other? Khan should really go and look at some of his statements so he can see just how dumb he sounds... Yea you never refused fights until you started getting KO'ed and wobbled by what should have been lesser opponents He knows If he loses to Brook his career is over. Sad part about it is If Khan chin could hold up I think he could outpoint Brook but, Khan is scared of losing again. Period. Outside of Broner or maybe Crawford or rematches w/ Maidana or Garcia, there's really no other intriguing fights for Khan outside of Brook!

I agree. Plus i'm not interested in seeing Floyd or Manny fight anyone else but each other. I don't care if they retire on May or rematch in September and retire. Boxing has become unbearable at times, you cant even come on a forum without sifting through pages of crap posted by their fanboys.

The division needs new blood now, even if they're not quite as good as Manny or Floyd. There's a lot of good fighters just underneath those two. Maidana, Thurman, Khan, Brook, Bradley, Porter, even Broner and Rios and Garcia if he moves up. There is a lot of great fights to be made there but will all be in the shade as long as Mayweather and Manny are around. It'll be a much more interesting division without them and the fights like Khan v Brook need to be happening to show that there's big exciting fights within the division without Manny and Floyd.
