Cotto and Canelo negotiating for September

here is what the idiots on this site just dont understand.
Cotto didn't fight in december against ANYBODY because he didn't have enough time to train with freddy roach. Then ODH & Canelo felt that they were going to compete with Floyd with that Cinco De Mayo ppv weekend by using Cotto as their little bargaining chip lets say. Cotto, not being the idiot that some other boxers are by letting themselves get used by a promoter (such as arum), gave the middle finger to BOTH Canelo & ODH. Do you guys honestly think that Cotto cares about Cinco De Mayo weekend? If he was going to fight at that time, why would he "compete" with Floyd as ODH has stated that they'll only move the date of the Cotto-Canelo fight if Floyd fights Pacquiao.... Ok UNDERSTAND. If Floyd fights pacquiao... And if Floyd didn't? Again, do you honestly think that Cotto cares about cinco de mayo weekend or to "compete" in a head to head ppv with floyd, where that situation would NOT maximize his earnings? Canelo got mad cuz he didn't get what he wanted, signed up kirkland and now is fighting kirkland at minute maid f^cking park.
KEY PARTS!!!--- Cotto doesnt care about cinco de mayo weekend. If he fought that weekend, it would be against floyd to try and take that 0. ODH & Canelo only would move the date if floyd-pac happened and if it didn't happen they would "compete" with floyd-??? in a head to head PPV. That WOULD NOT maximize EITHER of their money. Its a ****** business move, that ODH might do.Comment

I would lose respect for GGG if he took a bribe to step aside. Because that is exactly what it is, a bribe.
GGG holds the WBC interim title. To rank Canelo over GGG, they would have to strip GGG of his interim title and give it to Canelo who has never fought a middleweight in his life, much less challenged for a MW title. With all the effort WBC has put into cleaning things up, allowing Cotto to bypass his mandatory challenger, who the WBC have been heavily promoting for the past year, would be damaging to their reputation to the point where the WBC MW title would be meaningless.
Considering how the WBC are standing by their recent order for Stevenson to defend against Kovalev, I do not see them standing down in the MW division either.
"The WBC is extremely proud to continue with the task of securing the fights that the fans want and deserve to see. During the historic 52nd Annual Convention in Las Vegas in December of last year, the WBC voted unanimously in favor of a proposal which would lead to the unification of the light heavyweight division. Since then, Stevenson defended the WBC title in December, and Kovalev defeated Jean Pascal to determine the mandatory challenger with a spectacular victory that was also for the WBC Diamond belt."Comment

From the WBC website, posted Feb 26th, 2015...
"Mauricio Sulaiman, World Boxing Council President, confirms that Miguel Cotto must face Gennady Golovkin in an obligatory defence.
Kazakh “GGG” defeated Britain's Martin Murray, last weekend, successfully defending his WBC interim middleweight championship. Cotto is the absolute Champion of the division, while Genaddy is the official challenger.
However, the Champion has a voluntary defence. If he wins he must fight Golovkin.
“ Miguel Cotto will have a voluntary defense. He will choose his rival. But the winner will have to face Golovkin” Mauricio stressed.
Possible opponents for Cotto are Timothy Bradley and Erislandy Lara. The fight Is scheduled for June at a venue to be determined."Comment
