Comments Thread For: Khan Sees Mayweather-Pacquiao Having a Rematch

British star Amir Khan is getting himself ready for a planned return in late May. The current WBC silver welterweight champion is hoping to land a big fight in 2015, but he doubts that major fight will come against one of the two biggest names at the weight.

Khan thinks it is unlikely that he, or anyone else, will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao in the near future.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are set to unify their WBCO/WBC/WBA welterweight titles in a major event on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Not long ago he said the fight never happens in first place

I agree with him about the rematch

Of course there will be a rematch. Neither Floyd nor Pacman wants any part of Brook or Thurman.

But of course you have some lame posters now saying they ducking brook and Thurman

I agree with Amir; the question is, will both fighters?

Good analogy, very big money not to have a rematch, then after the rematch both will retire.

Explain to me how Pacman is either of the 2 best fighters in the world. Just because they're fighting a half decade too late doesn't make him that. This is not 09/10 this is 2015.

No rematch. The next big fight will be Donaire vs a mere Khan.

The fight would have to be horribly boring and/or horribly noncompetitive for there to be no rematch.
