So, he asked Roach to spar and he replied with how he just finished doing his road work the morning of that day. WTF does that even mean? Even if he had just finished his road work it hardly matters after half an hour (or less) if you're running every day cuz you're so used to it. Weird.

i'm sure roach as a profile hear..he loves to hear himself talk and for ppl to ag him on..so i would not doubt that he's behind one of these usernames...and i really dont doubt that manny is going to get schooled and stopped all at the same time...

We sparred four rounds and I don't think I hit him once and I think he hit me a couple of times but he just ran all night long. The next day he asked me if I wanted to spar again and I said,No, I already did my roadwork this morning. He got mad at me and we've never been friends since.

The only difference is that Roger was a WORLD CHAMPION twice and didn't fight the BUMS that Roach fought!

anybody that knows roger knows that roger had pop even as a damn kid..he laid his trainer out as a teenager..freddie is the one who had no pop regardless of the weight..i bet freddie's running shoes werent doing the chasing, but were looking more like the shoes on some of golovkins opponents...running but too damn slow to get anywhere..."no thank i already had my road work" aka "*** no i dont feel like running from you today"...wat fighter is not going to get work cutting off the ring vs a guy who cant pop??? really dudes makes sense freddie or go tf away

Freddy grew up boxing in Region 1 the New England territory and Roger and Floyd Sr. fought in the New York region for one year. I saw all these guys grow up in boxing including Freddy's older brother Pepper.
The Roach's were the pressure guys and the Maywethers were the movers although Floyd Sr. would get down to fighting you if the pressure was hot.
They know each other very very well and for a time they did meet at Futches. Eddie had alot to do with all of their out looks on boxing. Futch could train boxers and pressure guys and do it well.
Some people forget that Freddy fought and was as tough as anyone.

That says a lot about Roach as a fighter considering Roger Mayweather was never much of a mover. That roadwork comment was hilarious although he's obviously lying.
