Why is Peter Quillin under-rate compared to GGG?

For one thing, if you vacate the WBO belt, no matter what reason, it has got to take a hit on your status. I believe his mandatory was Matt Korabov and he elected to take a potential fight against Daniel Jacobs, which didn't happen. Now, he is looking to fight Andy Lee, who just defeated Korabov for the vacant WBO middleweight championship. Make what you will of why Quillin decided not to fight Korabov, but it does make you wonder why he would want to fight for the WBO belt again with Korabov out of the picture. Could this be a case of ducking a fighter? That can be a matter of debate. Whereas with GGG, he is open to fighting all comers within the middleweight division, including Cotto. He has the reputation that no one wants to fight him; now compare that to Quillin and you can get a sense of a perception that Quillin is on a lower pedestal that Golovkin.

Quillin didn't duck Korobov, it was Haymon ducking Jay Z and Roc Nation. Haymon wanted to drive RN out of the sport before they had the chance to get a foothold. It might actually have been kinder and cheaper if Jay Z had just pulled out after what happened but instead he wasted good money signing Ward and Cotto, neither of whom have been in the ring since they were signed.

Yea he beat him coming up in weight but he also fought him coming off about 5 or 6 wins and Quillin fought him on a losing streak. This is also Quillin's biggest win and Rosado was beating his a*ss the whole second half of the fight and only won bc he reopened the eye Golovkin cut. Golovkin then went on to fight better competition than Rosado and dominated them in equal fashion and Quillin followed it up by going the distance with Lucas Konecny. Then followed that by throwing away his title while the other guy in this conversation is trying to unify the division. That's why one guy is respected and the other is seen as a little b*itch

Quillin is not under-rated. He's considered by most to be top 3-5 in the division. He hasn't done enough or performed well enough to be rated over GGG imo, but he is a top-ranked MW.

That is how the cookie crumbles, and it really doesn't even matter because if Quillin performs in the ring everything will work out for him.

Golovkin has been performing and Quillin has not, that is all there is to it.

GGG fans act like GGG boxing craft is the best in the division when it is not even close to the top. Especially from how Murray exposed him last time out. Andy Lee definitely can crack and more than likely will put this one dimensional brawler to sleep, walking in.

GGG didn't beat Rosado when Rosado was settled in Middleweight. Plus I think GGG cheated in that fight with his suspect gloves.
