Tyson was faster
In his prime, Tyson was much faster than Tua, threw from more angles and had a more varied arsenal of punches. Tyson never had to wait round after round to finally catch up to outside boxers like Tua sometimes has. Tyson would be on top of guys much faster and not lose rounds.
I'm a David Tua fan, but it's been frustrating sometimes to watch him lose a lot of rounds to taller guys with a longer reach. Tua caught most of those guys during his career but sometimes it took 8, 9, or even 11 rounds for him to do it (like Rahman and Maskaev). If we went back to the old 15 round days, Tua would be more dangerous, a slow, somewhat predictable little tank of a fighter who stayed dangerous for a whole fight.
