I'm saying that for most people with common sense, having a roadblock for making potentially the highest grossing and biggest fight in history (after Mayweather's postponed surrender date) be due to Arum's desire to revert back to outdoor temporary stadiums (a business model and practice LONG abandoned in Vegas due to its inability to generate more revenue than the current in-casino arenas) never passed the laugh test.

The fact that such stadium would be bleacher based, have no amenities, have Porta-Pottys as its bathrooms, and no guarantees that it actually would bring in more revenue nor be actually completed in time for the fight only made it more ludicrous.

For those with experience with closed circuit tickets, where will I get the best view? In the ballroom/conference room type setting or something like the Mandalay Bay Arena?

floyd fans were laughing and mocking the idea of an outdoor stadium full stop.

None was said about bleacher base, 25 year old business model, porta cabins, t-shirts, or amenities.

you've lost the argument, take the L and move on to the next topic.

Pac's cut might not heal in time
We're fighting in June(when before he thought Mayweather would be in jail, May was fine)
"I don't know if Manny is available to fight in May"
"I don't even know if Mayweather will be licensed"
"My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys"

Those were the excuses just in ONE ARTICLE! So why would anyone believe that he was serious about building a stadium when it was mentioned as an excuse during that same period of time, and then never mentioned seriously again? Only someone with an agenda would.

Blah blah blah, we were discussing about how Floyd fans like you were laughing and mocking at the temporary stadium, now that the fight is on MGM with limited number of real boxing fans can watch it live and be part of the history, some admitted that a bigger venue would be more appropriate.

when I said about the outdoor stadium, now they are talking about porta cabins bleacher and t shirt store.

quit about the blah blah blah, your idols [romotional company is doing a shameful job at promotion and now you minions are talking about cost cutting and budget and the fight will sell by itself.

stop the blah blah blah and admit that your idol is the worst thing that ever happen to boxing

TRANSLATION: That Arum stadium proposal is cringeworthy. Rather than actually defend it, best to feign indignation and claim victory and hope dude leaves it be.

Is that about the gist of it?

But you are assuming that a bigger venue would in fact mean more tickets available for 'real boxing fans'. Nothing in reality suggests this.

We were laughing and still are about that nonsense, because it was just an excuse, just like the others he was giving. Arum had ZERO plans to build a stadium and anyone with any sense knew it.
