I mean how many times have you felt compelled to watch a fight due to fighters pushing each other, arguing in their faces, close to throwing punches, etc., prior to the fight? Which is exactly the formula WWF is using, albeit fake as it is.

Then the fight turns out to be not what you expected, which means boring.

Wouldn't you like to see Rigo, for example, stalk Santa Cruz, visit him in his training camp, press conferences, ambush style...

Bottom line is, using creativity helps in securing fights. It doesn't matter whether the fight turns out boring... It fills up stadiums.

Boring fighters' promoters should explore new things.
