Notice how nobody else brings up anyone else to compare with Mundine as a cross over star?

No, not a great boxer, but a cross over, who was a major star in a previous non-combat sport and went on to become a star or do something significant in boxing.

Also the fact that Mundine was NOT a HW, so size alone can't get you far.

In Australia he's disliked because he has a big mouth and he fought too mant taxi drivers on ppv and each one was supposed to be the lats fight before he went to the US and took on the best but he really never did it.

In the end he was just making too much money fighting nobodies in Aus with the odd good fighter in between.

Only fighter to have every career fight on ppv.

Ive heard from people in the know over here that hes made $70mil from boxing, thats up there with the top guys outsdie Pac and Floyd.

He is rated by Boxrec as the 15th best 154 pounder in the world so he is not that bad but not that good either. He has 6 losses and been stopped twice. The 9 best 154 pounder, Clottey went to Australia and beat him by scores of 116-108 115-109 and 117-108. That is a very one side loss for Mundine considering he was fighting in his own country.

Mundine has been milking the casual boxing fans of australia for far too long and he should be ashamed of what he has been doing.

He even brought in his mate sonny bill williams in on the milking act, it was de****able.

Yes he was a decent C level boxer in his prime and probably could of done more if challenged himself after the Kessler fight.

Even now he is going to fight Trout who has been struggling.

He is sort of a crossover fighter but you must remember that his father was a pro boxer and mundine would have been trained from an early age.

I hope that he retires soon because he is an embarrassment to aussies that are real boxing fans.

I was live vs Rabchenko and honestly, he isn't very good.

              I honestly doubt that's true.

He has been shot for ages, he should of retired a long time ago.

Agree. To think it's 10 years ago since he took that beating from Kessler.

Mundine is a decent fighter, slightly above average... Trout should beat him

I also think Trout wins. But styles make fights, I hope Mundine takes it.
