If Freddie is basing their fight plan mostly on the ODLH fight then Pac has already loss. Pac is not ODLH and you can bet Floyd is not going to fight Pac like he did ODLH.
Yes every fighter has tendencies but Floyd adjust and adapts so quickly it's hard to draw up a strategy that can be followed for an entire fight.

To me the best plan to beat Floyd would be to fight him like Dawson fought Hopkins and come out with different tactics and styles every round and do you best not to repeat anything. Unfortunately for Pac, he fights on instinct so to try and remember to change up every round might do more harm than good.

This is why I have been saying to folks since they first started talking about making this fight years ago, the only chance Pac has of beating Floyd would be by KO. He is not going to out box him.

I think there are far too many weaknesses in Paq for this to be anything but a boxing exhibition from Floyd.

For starters anytime Floyd has had the physical advantage he's obliterated to competition. He's bigger, stronger, has a longer reach, and is taller. I dont see how Paq overcomes those physical shortcomings. I dont see him being able to box his way into range to unleash those rapid fire punches. I pray for his soul he's not banking on lunging in recklessly like he has traditionally. I dont see his power as this equalizing factor anymore either. There's no way you could tell me hes bringing more power than Canelo or Maidana brought. (who both also outweighed him by damn near 20+ lbs) And I dont think he gets that left off anyway. I mean Tim Bradley managed to last 24 rounds without getting caught by it. I see Floyd controlling distance early on and Manny getting frustrated because he doesnt have the footwork or boxing acumen to get his offense off. I see Manny tiring like he does in most of his fights (call it leg cramps or whatever) with mayweather taking over late.
Yep, the physical and smarts are heavy in Floyd's corner. I like your power reference. I just don't see Manny's power anymore. He killed Rios, but never really hurt him. Algeria, was just overwhelmed. So much conversations center around those 2 fights. Rios was picked to make Manny look good.

Now, flaws. Watch Manny left hand when he jabs, he drops it, and is wide open for a counter punch. Watch Marquez, Bradley, and Algeria counter his lazy jab.

What about the hop, hop, and then jump in Lunging, with no regards to defense. See Marquez, Morales, etc. He also never reacts or protects his body. Watch Bradley and Marquez attack his body, and he doesnt respond. You can't do that against Floyd who goes to the body well.

Now, I'm more concerned with Manny right hook. Hurt Cotto, and Marquez. How does Floyd react to this weapon. Madiana, Mosley, and Oscar hit him with the right hand.

I really don't believe Freddie can adapt as the fight goes on, but I also believe that they're going for a knockout, which is their on hope to win the fight. That means he will be careless, and get caught.

Manny is going to be knocked out. Floyd Sr. was training Oscar up until his fight with Jr. During the build up to the Oscar fight when Floyd Sr. and Floyd Jr. were not getting along, Floyd Sr. was saying how he couldn't train Oscar for the fight because Oscar was one of the few people with the tools to beat Floyd.

He said a bigger fighter with reach and a strong jab that he can dedicate to will be Floyds undoing. During the fight Oscar was jabbing Floyd so much and pushing him back. He was winning on all 3 score cards. Then suddenly he stopped throwing his jab and let Floyd dictate the space to time him. In the ring after the fight Oscar was asked why he stopped throwing the jab when he was clearly winning with it and he said, "well, it wasn't the night of the jab."

Manny is 2 inches shorter. And 4 inches short on reach. If Floyd fights him with his jab and space it wont matter because Manny will get sloppy and fall victim to well timed overhand rights.

If Marquez who is much smaller can daze, knock down, and knock out Manny in multiple fights. Count on the bigger Floyd to put him to sleep

True...that means you need a plan a and b. I haven't followed Freddie's early career. I know he's had several champions that he trained. I'm just not sold on his ability as a trainer. I've always said that the trainer needs to protect his fighter by addressing his flaws. I know he's an offensive trainer, but how hard is it to correct balance.

Some on this forum will say Manny is just aggressive. okay, it's called effective aggressive why protecting yourself. I have a lot of respect for Manny. Great, humble champion, but he's over his head in this fight.

              First, ODH won the fight.

2nd, From that fight on Jr went south:
Little men, wee little guy, Old champs, B and C fighters. JR has not been tested. WE don't know if he is game to stay in a war.

              He crys when Cut.

He crys to the ref for help.

              He cheap shots a guy.

              He bluffs

All these signs tell me if he gets into a battle, gets hurt in the first couple of rounds,

              and

THEN trys to do his usual thing against his wore out foes and mounts a ballerina come back to win,,,,,but finds HE CAN'T do it with PAC,

              Then

WE DON"T KNOW IF HE WILL CRUMBLE DO WE ? hahahahahaha

Pac has answered all the questions,,,,JR has NOT and its those intangibles that will determine this fight.

I have NEVER seen or known of a great fighter that did the things that JR does , crying etc..... and fought the best and stayed undefeated.

JR's coming out party is fixing to happen.

Jr being EXPOSED is what it is

IF PAC will dump the compassion for fight he can come back to full compassion after, if he will, JR will more than likely QUIT when he can't do his thang in the latter end of the fight.

Good points. I watched the Oscar vs Floyd fight 3 times. I see the adjustments made by Floyd which allowed him to take away the jab. Watch Floyd change his look confusing Oscar, and making him heistate. Look at the jab to the stomach followed by the right hand. Floyd occupied Oscar's left hand, so his jab was neturalized.

Now, when you watch the fight, you need to mute the sound, lol....

Great points! Any hbo fight you have to mute the sound. The fav fighter of hbo, you would think was killing the other guy. They scream and yell when a jab was made. Lol it is always said oscar just stopped using the jab. But as you pointed out, floyd started making dlh pay when he used the jab.
