Floyd doesn't have the movement of Bradley or Algieri and he knew he could outbox them by throwing less, he knows he can't with Floyd. You never throw more punches when you don't need to and can outbox the guy by throwing less.

Seriously. How long does it take BoxingScene articles? 30 seconds?

And still people don't read them.

Re the actual article and Evander's comments.....I don't think they're that far-fetched. If this fight is bringing in $400m in revenue as is being speculated....I don't think it'll be left as one fight and out.

so thats what holyfield is saying..a close fight must go to manny if vegas wants a rematch.

floyd must win convincingly, but all manny has to do is make it close. .we already know when floyd loses 3-4 rounds they call it one of his toughest fights..and if he loses 5 rounds they say he lost.

floyds needs to paint a masterpiece and i believe he will

            9-3 floyd
            Exactly this

Its happened before, like srl vs hagler. But overall fighters usually do lose. Its not like every great fighters loses via robbery. They tried it with pac vs bradley

No, it will be a boxing match for almost the entire fight.

Holmes was on his way to tying Marciano and loss what many feel was a controversial decision to Spinks. Holyfield is subtly stating the same will happen to Floyd. At least that's what I took from the interview.

I think Floyd is going to win and I don't think it will be close. Just like the majority f folks did not think he would fight Canelo the way he did, I think we're all going to be surprised by the way he fights Manny and I don't think Pac/Freddie will be able to make the adjustment.
It may seem like a silly thing to say, but I think folks are seriously underestimating Mayweather..... it wasn't Pacquiao who walked down the best JMW on the planet.

The last time I saw a very similar scenario was prior to the Mosley fight.

The main expectation from a majority of fans seems to be that Manny will be chasing Mayweather, who will be running for his life..... well, I heard all that immediately prior to the Mosley fight, and we all know what happened there.

I thought it could take Mayweather 4-5 rounds to establish the perimeter in that fight and turn it into a boxing match..... but it only took 1 round, because Mayweather met Shane in the middle of the ring and fought him flat-footed.

It completely fakked Mosleys plan A, B, and C

Once it became a boxing match, Mosley didnt win a round.

If Pac gets stuck on the outside, he is toast.
