My thing is this.. Can Pac dictate the pace? He doesn't need to hurt or even ko Floyd imo. Simply have the fight fought at his pace and win. The only thing about that is that no one's been able to sustain that for an entire fight vs Mayweather. Whether it was Castillo, Oscar, Marcos etc etc.

Not only did they not dictate the pace, their work rate and connect percentage tends to drop drastically. Thus setting in frustration. All while Floyd adjusts, adapts, lands his own shots and fights at different speeds, levels and gives you numerous looks. If somehow Manny can actually break his rhythm and dictate how the fight goes, he wins.

There won't be controversy, imo. This fight is too big for that. Just imagine the backlash if a Williams/Lara, Manny/Bradley, Whitaker/Ramirez or Chavez type decision happens.

Boxing won't recover for a very very long time

i see floyd winning by non controversial decision or late stoppage. i respect hopkins opinion for the winner either way. but why does it have to be contro versial.

The title of this article is misleading because Hop said people are going to say controversial but fans will be shocked on how FMJ takes over fight after 6th round. The audio is on fhype and utube.

"Mayweather will be in a tug of war for the first six rounds...Mayweather still has enough - not only energy, not only legs, not only IQ - to be able to figure out every and anything that's been done in the first four or five rounds to overcome some things early and win a decision...I think people are going to be shocked...you'll see the best that you've ever seen in Mayweather.

The shady vegas characters must be licking their chops at the amount of money to be made from this on the betting end. Floyd is now working on knockout punching? A guy with a recipe that's been hard to argue against is now switching into a fighter looking for knockouts? That speaks loud as fk that both sides are worried about judging for this fight and with good reason. If you were ever going to fix results what better opportunity than this.

Well you don't have to be a genius to figure that one out Bernard. That's the first thing that came to mind when I heard the fight was announced, Sprayweather by split decision

Floyd gets dropped, all the commentators have him down by at least 4 rounds and Floyd wins 9 rounds on one card somehow.

Listen. Mayweather is like public enemy #1. He is the fighter that everyone loves to hate. If this fight goes 12 competitive rounds, then you better believe that Manny will get the victory. As much as vegas and MGM loves Mayweather, they love $$$ more. Look how long it took for this fight to happen, 5 or 6 years. If Floyd wins, who's to say he'll fight Manny again? After all, it's not in the contract, is it? So that means they fight a few times and Vegas brings in WELL OVER A BILLION DOLLARS.

However if Manny wins, then you better believe that Floyd will want to get his revenge and beat Manny. After all, no one makes adjustments better than Floyd. I see Manny winning the first fight and Floyd winning fights 2 and 3.
