Right and Steward is much closer to the situation than "Sauderland" is. He's merely an obsecure promoter trying to make a name for himself.

Conflicting points of view, except I'll take Manny's word over his.

I would also take Manny's word over Sauderlands but Sauderland offers a unbiased viewpoint, even if hes trying to make a name for himself. Manny will say everything in Wlads favor, because he is Wlads trainer and has a vested interest in him doing well. Almost every fighter and their trainers talk a good game before a fight, and its not like this promoter Sauderland is a loud mouth who talks out of his ass.

I think hes saying it becasue there is some truth to it. There is no reason for him to lie, the fight has been sold out for weeks.

Sourland is probably sour about the deal they were able to get from K2.

Probably, they don't appreciate Wlad's desire to get paid well via his own promotional company. They'd rather prefer to see Wlad fight for free --- out of the love for the sport.

Sauerland criticizes Klitschko!

Promoter Wilfried Sauerland, who with K2 is co-promoting the Wladimir Klitschko against Chris Byrd IBF heavyweight title fight on April 22, has criticized the work habits of Klitschko, stating to the BILD, "Wladimir is not a boxer with his whole heart. For him boxing is not a passion, but a job -- and a job that he's not always so terribly glad to have....if he wants to play an exceptional role in the sport, he may not only concentrate fully on the job two months before a fight. He must do it ten months out of the year." And if Klitschko defeats Byrd as expected, Sauerland stated Wlad will be "simply one of four titleholders."

Thats bs and completely bias, Suerland's comments. Wlad has more than enough money to quit right now, so I don't know what this fool is talking about. He's just mad he's getting his ass fired.
