Everyone always says Manny is always open to a counter yet the only guy to seem to have even a little success at countering him in his last 20 or so fights is Juan Marquez, and Manny still kicked his ass in 3 out of 4 fights and knocked him down 4 times and landed the harder shots in each fight. Even the 4th fight Manny was kicking his ass and Marquez was about to get knocked out which he even said. Yeah he gets hit with more shots than mayweather does but he also pulverizes his opponents and busts them up with not only harder shots but more shots. What Manny lacks in a perfect defense he makes up for in volume power punching. Again his defense cant be that bad if hes busted up and beaten and by far outlanded every top fighter in the game the last 10 years. Mammy doesn't get enough credit for his ring smarts either. He really is a technician, just as much so if not more than Floyd. Floyds only advantage is defense and it wont be enough to overcome mannys volume power punching

its a difference between kicking someone ass and winning close decisions manny didnt kick his ass all four times first three could've went roidquez way you take fanboyism to a all time high with your blinders on even your last 20 fights crap is bs you might wanna check some me of the opponents in that statement

Floyd beat some guys, Manny had guys running for their lives or had their faces so swollen up, they couldn't see for a week after the fight. Typically, dudes that get beaten that bad don't give due credit because they are embarrassed that they got beaten up so bad.

There's a way to walk someone down. Angles, different looks, feints, (which we all know how Pacquiao reacts you feints). Floyd stands in front of Pacquiao to get his range, and after 4 rounds of counter punches, straight rights, and working the body, then he washes Manny. Remember one thing, effective counter punching slows down a volume puncher, and forces him to think about the return fire. Manny will need to settle into a "boxing" match. I hope Freddie's game plan has a plan A and B. Now, if Manny is doing damage, then we have another scenario to start thinking about, but Floyd is committed to defense, and has he says, he finds out what the fighter cannot do, and force him to adapt or focus on his weakess.
