i didn't write off russell. i knew he was a very good fighter. lomachenko is just top level elite.

also gonzalez sucks against southpaws. so i knew russell would give him tons of problems when you also add his speed.

southpaw + speed + power = very dangerous

Yep, jhonny just too slow and wide . Russell's speed was the key tonight. He still loses to Loma in a rematch. A fight with Walters would be very interesting. Walters likely too big and strong for GRJ.

That's crazy, Gonzalez's legs went and never came back. Dude looked his age tonight. He barely got touched and went down those last 2 times because he couldn't stand up.

I don't know what to make of this. Russell looked exactly the same, all ineffective speed, and then suddenly Gonzalez was gone from that left and right.
