I'm sorry Roy,but you're just dead wrong. Almost every single time in recent years that Floyd had tried to hit his opponent hard,in order to gain respect from him,Floyd has always hurt his hands. Floyd doesn't sit down on his punches, because he knows that his hands will pay the price for it. He won't try hitting Pacquiao hard, because if he does,he'll probably jack up his hands, and he'll be in for a long night.

Thats exactly what I said, the only way for mayweather to win is to Ko pacquiao, however unlike Roy I do not think mayweather has it in him to knock out Manny. Unless he is taking memos stuff I highly doubt he has enough power, and even if he does is he willing to break his fragile hands to do it? I would hope for a fight of this magnitude he would but mayweather is always saying his health is so important so I really don't think he would.

Every body Knows he takes LYDOCAINE and injects it in his knuckles. HBO made a documentary exposing this, This is the reason Why Floyd never Fought with HBO since.

That's what I was thinking too. I think hes scared that if he goes for a Ko he knows his hand might break, and if he does that early in a fight hes screwed. I dint think he'd be willing to.figut with a broken hand the whole fight so therefore if he does try a Ko it will be in the championship rounds and by that time Manny will have the fight won

I'd say Showtime offering him the biggest deal an athlete has been offered in terms of handling his fights is what did it. Not some bs about Floyd's hand situation, which everybody knows he used Xylocaine in the past. Now that he's older and his hands are more brittle, using something like Xylocaine would only be a detriment. If he can't feel his hands he'll throw them harder, which will only hurt his hands more in the long run. Good for the short term, terrible for the long term. Exactly why he doesn't do it anymore. Watch his post fight interview after the Guerrero fight where he talks about hurting his right hand.
