Roy has used some questionable reasoning in the past. I'll never forget his reasoning for why James Toney beats Wladimir Klit:

Byrd beat Vitali, and Vitali is better than Wladimir. Toney is tougher than Byrd. So Toney beats Wladimir.

Now that he's older and his hands are more brittle, using something like Xylocaine would only be a detriment. If he can't feel his hands he'll throw them harder, which will only hurt his hands more in the long run. Good for the short term, terrible for the long term. Exactly why he doesn't do it anymore. Watch his post fight interview after the Guerrero fight where he talks about hurting his right hand.
now that's an intelligible comment! these pac....t....well you know the rest are always commenting with some ignorant, bias, non-intellectual information, all their information they arrogantly post, almost bragging like a vain person with new shoes, all seems to come from their emotional side aka their hater side, haters from head to toe....like the article last week about the 5 million penalty that Floyd's people didn't accept, they ran with it and boy were they proud when they saw that article until intelligence, knowledge, and good ol' common sense was provided by their Pastor Bob Arum, they must've really felt salty when they realized they were wrong the whole time hahahaha

A fighter that is always on his toes and now is force to fight at a fixed stance is going to hit harder.

The question is if his hands are going to hold. Floyd has a very under-rated chin also

The whole key to the fight is distance. If they fight outside it could be Mayweather, if they fight at close range , with clinching ,tying up, etc if they fight in the pocket and at angles Pacquiao has edge.

I see it too. He is thinking Mayweather will sit back and try to pot shot, but that is to his detriment. Mayweather has won alot of fights by throwing very few punhces. This fight that won't happen. Pac IS NOT AN OPPONENT . H e is an a list player too. However if Mayweather tries to stalk Pacquaio and be physical throwing punches he is going to get hit alot. Mayweather would be better suited to be defensive in my opinion.
