He moved up to lightmiddle because of lack of opportunities, not weight issues.
Right, even after winning the 154 belt from one legged rabbi he requested a 160 rehydration limit from one eyed Marg. That's decent sized welter fight night, and totally unfair for natural sww. There's lwws hitting 160 fight night

The only ones who said he was weight drained were the Floyd fans, they panicked when Pac signed to fight Cotto because they knew he had more balls than Floyd did, because the thing was Cotto never fought Cotto at that time, and he waited until Margo and Pac wiped him out and fights Cotto at his worst weight 154 where he is slower.

Cotto wasnt drained, a drained fighter cannot move like that for 12 rounds or take that type of beating or even deliver heavy combos like he did against Pac.

Drained is Oscar de la hoya that fought Pac, Canelo that fought Floyd, and the Chad Dawson that fought Ward. it showed in the fight they were so weak and coudl barely muster energy in those fights.

Cotto on the other hand fought hard but came up short and had no quit in him against Pac.

          he looked excellent.

Pacquiao destroys him at any weight including 154.

Same when he fought Margs. Floyd groupies like to discredit that win as well. Everybody with a set of eyes knows Margs never tired or stopped trying to destroy Pacquiao. He took Pacquiao to a very dark place.

I believe he was. And I have no clue if he would have won had the fight been at 147. What I do know is team Pacman never wanted to fight Cotto without a weight stipulation.

And I will add that Pacman did catch Cotto and hurt him because he thought he was bigger and stronger, (which he wasn't).

                    No. Not at all.

                    He was 146 against Clottey.

He actually looked pretty damn good the first few rounds of that Pacquaio fight.

I really thought he'd get battered from the get go but he hung in there and was competitive for the first 3 rounds and landed some real good shots.

After the second KD, it was curtains, just a brutal beating.

Cotto could never beat Pacquaio. Never, ever. If they fought 1,000 times Pacquaio would beat the hell out of him 1,000 times.

Cotto was drained. Pacquiao walked away from a rematch because he didn't want to fight a 100% Cotto at 154.
