        Yes definitely.

The most common trait that big punchers have is being flat footed. By being flat footed, they can really sit on their punches and throw hard shots. They trade mobility for power(GGG, Provodnikov, Maidana) whilst pure boxers trade power for mobility.(Ward, Bradley, Lara,) theres no wrong style, just different styles.

Of course you can. Don't believe it, watch Winky Wright vs Felix Trinidad.

How many people thought Trinidad including Trinidad himself that he was going to huff and puff and blow Wright away? Wright known as a southpaw defensive boxer with decent hand speed and a peek a boo defense. Trinidad couldn't do jack the entire fight as he followed Wright around mostly and got jabbed to death. Once Trinidad tired, Wright opened up more and let his hands go landing all kinds of shots.

It's a typical example of boxer vs puncher, puncher gets tired, boxer takes over the fight.

I always liked him too. They used to show him on b.e.t way back when. He was a good fighter, just light in the hands.

True that. Both guys can be technical if need be and can counter too.

I believe GGGs amateur/professional experience is what has taken him this far. But having power helps too.. Lol

big power punchers usually lose by getting outboxed.
