I like Cotto, he exceeded all my expectations for him after the 2000 Olympics

Cotto is a very good fighter, Maybe a future hall of famer, he had good skills, and fought everyone. An all-time great, he is not.
Seriously what has Oscar done that's so much more impressive than Cotto? Also lose all his big fights?

If there's 50 all time greats then most likely 1 would be beaten by 49 of the others...doesn't mean he's not an ATG...

His first win over Chavez and his win over Quartey are very good wins and he was arguably robbed vs Trinidad and Mosely.

Floyd and Manny are certifiable ATG's Manny for his run at the lower weights and Floyd for his legendary defence and longevity...That's two Cotto loses

Margs had Plaster and Trout was a terrible match up while Cotto was unmotivated and disillusioned with boxing.... see how crap ****ty excuses are?

You don't mention him getting schooled by an ancient Whitaker? Rip off wins over Sturm and Forbes(never seen this one myself but I've seen it claimed)

ODLH won major titles in 6 weight classes....3 were lineal....he fought all the top guys of his era....won some and lost some.

He had some close calls that could have went either way but it was against top notch opposition.....ODLH also fought more world champions and contenders....also beat more

all his loses were to ATG or hall of famers....Manny, Floyd, Shane(2x), Trinidad, Hopkins......cant say the same for Cotto who lost to wholly average Trout and Margarito who was the most overhyped fighter of the last decade.

ODLH IMO fought in a deeper era than Cotto

Take out the handicap shot martinez and his last big win was a rematch with a one eyed man who beat him down
the first time...his career is solid yet overated. He still has trout problems.

cotto doesn't win a 147 belt in that era.

tito, delahoya, pea, buddy mcgirt, vernon forrest, ike quartey, oba carr.

does cotto beat any of those guys? maybe carr? maybe.

cotto even beat yory boy? wilfredo rivera?
